EVENT BRIEF :

Parent Orientation Programs provide an opportunity to establish effective communication channels between school and parent community. It allows parents to meet teachers, administrators, and other staff members, fostering a sense of partnership between home and school, open lines of communication can lead to better collaboration, support, and involvement of parents in their child’s education. Parent Orientation Programs familiarise parents with the school’s policies, procedures, and expectations. This includes information about attendance, homework, discipline, grading systems, extracurricular activities, and more. By understanding these guidelines, parents can better support their child’s educational journey and align their efforts with the school’s objectives.

BGS NPS Bannerghatta organised the Parent Orientation Program for the new parents of Pre-Primary to Grade VIII with the objective of encouraging parental involvement in school activities and events. An active parental involvement contributes to a positive school community, improves student outcomes, and enhances the overall educational experience. Parents were able to gain valuable insights into best practices, educational resources, and techniques that can contribute to their wards academic success.
