We highlight the different co-curricular activities held by BGSNPS. In line with the philosophy that busy people find time for everything and that people should work hard and play hard, the students are expected to occupy their leisure time productively. There are a variety of activities to involve all the students.
We are ourselves creations. And we in turn are meant to continue creativity by being creative.
Morning Assembly
“If you begin the day well, hours gently pass by„
Morning assembly is an important program of the school. It helps to inculcate in the students a sense of devotion and duty. Day started with a prayer in good in all aspects. Divine thoughts invoke moral values and inspire the students to do good deeds. News makes one aware of what is happening around us. Special programs create interest and improve General Knowledge. Morning assembly is held section wise. Maximum participation is ensured. The following events contribute morning assembly-prayer, community song, and pledge, thought for the day, News, Special items, announcements, birthday celebration and National Anthem. Talks on festivals and other days of importance following in the week are presented by the class on duty.
Thinktac : Hands-on Experiential Science Programme
In our constant endeavour to provide the best possible learning experiences for our students, we have partnered with Thinktac, a leading provider of experiential education in launching an innovative in-house science-based learning program to engage students in hands-on exploration, increasing scientific temperament and achieving conceptual mastery with a focus on real-world applications.
ThinkTac offers K-12 Experiential Science Learning programmes that are aligned with the CBSE curriculum. ThinkTac offers Annual programmes, Thematic programmes and orkshops. All ThinkTac programmes consist of a series of tactile activities termed as TACtivities™. TACtivities include making toys, experiments – both short and running a few weeks – thought experiments and computer / app based games. The programme is designed to cover over 80% of all topics in the science curriculum with TACtivities and for the remaining, we have carefully curated resources.
The ThinkTac programme is facilitated by Educators using a scaffold approach. The Educator assesses the current capabilities of the learner and provides just enough support to enable the learner to take the next step, building confidence and capability at each step. All Thinktac programmes are designed by scientists, mathematicians and engineers following proven pedagogies including Kolb’s experiential learning cycle, Zone of Proximal Development and Constructivist Educational Theory.

After School Activity (ASA) Program
BGS NPS Bannerghatta has introduced an exciting and enriching opportunity for our students to engage in an internal co-scholastic curriculum of After School Activities (ASA) in association with Utsaah Learning Private Ltd, a program with the belief that active involvement in Arts is the fundamental force in creating happy and enthusiastic individuals. It aims at inspiring and encouraging learners to explore & nurture their creativity. Our endeavor is to encourage children to develop strong personal interest in arts, to pursue learning and to create platforms for showcasing their talent. The ultimate goal of the program is to instill enthusiasm and bring happiness to children through training in various forms of arts.

In-house Co-scholastic Training Program
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide a well-rounded education and to add an exciting dimension to it, we are introducing an in-house co-scholastic training program providing Basketball and Badminton coaching sessions on weekdays after regular school hours. Our experienced coaches will provide expert training to our students to enhance their skills in their chosen sport.
