ACTIVITY DATE : 21st July 2023

ACTIVITY TITLE : Red Day Celebration

ACTIVITY BRIEF:

“Red is the color of happiness and joy”.

Introducing children to different colors, including red, helps them develop color recognition skills. The “Red Day” celebration provided as a focused and engaging way for kids to understand and identify the color red and introduced them to the mesmerizing realm of colors. Red is an emotionally intense color that demands attention like no other color of the spectrum.

The color red symbolizes action, confidence, and courage. Our tiny tots looked stunning in their red attire. The shades of red made the students feel bright, lively and cheerful. Students brought red objects from home and spoke few sentences about the color. The  celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped to sort and classify objects based on colors there by reinforcing cognitive skills and it enhanced their collaborative learning skill.

Our mini chefs arranged a Biscuit Topping Party and invited all the facilitators to the Biscuit Topping Party. The children were very amused and enthusiastic upon seeing the red color objects. It helped them understand the concept of primary colors. Children enjoyed coloring and drawing. The session was cheerful.

Colors are indeed the smiles of nature. Children remember experiences that are enjoyable and exciting. The “Red Day” celebration created lasting memories for the children, making the learning process more effective and meaningful.
