“Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that grow forever.” – Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

To commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. His contribution towards Indian education is undeniable.

Teacher’s Day was organised with incredible gusto and zeal by the students of BGS National Public School, Bannerghatta. The day began with seeking the blessings of our eternal pathfinder The Divine Soul His Holiness Bhairavaikya Jagadguru Padmabhushan Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji and paying a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at the school premises.

Principal Smt. Sreekala G. Kumar and Principal Sri. Ganapathy C M congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts of every teacher for painstaking effort they selflessly put in every day by reading the message by Our Managing Director, Revered Sri Sri Prakashnath Swamiji.

It was a remarkable day for all students as they presented colourful performances for their beloved teachers with a sense of gratitude for the tireless labour and love all the teachers put in to bring them up as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals. The day was filled with many unforgettable moments. All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event to cherish forever.
